WHO WE ARE We are a relaxed, easy going North End neighbourhood cafe/coffeeshop. We don't provide the ultimate dining experience, nor do we demonstrate pretentions over your latte. We are honest, and our simple mission is to provide the best food and coffee without any bullshit. We are a little rough around the edges, and learning as we go, but we are learning and with that comes better product and service.
WHAT WE DO We are a counter service fully licensed cafe redefining breakfast, offering high quality takes on classic lunch fare, and soon we will be branching out into nights. We are available for evening parties of up to 22, we can provide catering services, and we do take-out. Call ahead and we can have it ready for you
WHEN WE DO WHAT WE DO The Coastal is open on weekdays from 8-3. Breakfast is served till 2, with the lunch menu beginning at 11. On Saturday we open 8-3, and Sunday and Holidays we sleep in a little, opening 10-3. Weekends and Holidays are Breakfast menu only, unless we have it and you ask nicely. Though maddeningly hard to pin down on opening nights it is going to happen. We are, as stated above, available for private functions in the evening

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO You can get a plate of eggs, bacon, hash, and toast everywhere. But where, my friends, can you get lamb meatballs on top of scrambled eggs with asiago and herbs . Or take our burger for example. Fancier restaurants may tart it up with some exotic toppings, but we just simply make a great big patty, brush it with a homemade BBQ sauce, top it with fried onions, swiss, and bacon, stick it in a big ass english muffin with the usual fixin's and our own version of special sauce and it's really really good. Our philosophy is that cheap is easy, value is a challenge. A lot of time and expense go into our dishes to ensure we are exceeding expectations. So while we may not be dirt cheap, we do provide extremely high quality cooking at very reasonable prices.
